These colorful prints are from a folio presenting the flowers found in the garden
of the old house house at Stratford-on-Avon where Shakespeare was born. As noted in
the accompanying text, the garden "is filled with the herbs and plants which he names
in his writings".
Each print displays both the English and Latin
name for the flower. Provided with each print is a copy of the accompanying text
page which includes passages from the plays in which the flower is referenced.
