Background:

These unique prints are part of a children's decoupage series published in France c. 1930s-1940s.  The reverse of each image is printed on the back of the print.

The prints could be used in one of two ways.   The child (or parent!) could cut out each image and fold it along the baseline so the figure could stand up.  This would a toy set for the child to play with.

Or, the images could be decoupaged on a toy chest, dresser, etc.
