These unique prints are from a 1930s guide to Japanese flower arrangements (known as Ikebana,
literally "flowers kept alive") based on a paper originally presented to the
Asiatic Society of Japan in 1889. The prints feature exquisite detail and beautiful
coloring. The two major styles of Ikebana are represented in these prints -
Moribana (shallow vase style) and Nageire (tall vase style).
