These prints feature "Game-birds and Water-fowl found within South African limits - that is to say, south of line drawn through the Zambesi River from east to west".   The prints are from the rare First Edition of this work authored by Major Boyd Horsbrugh, with illustrations by Sgt. C. G. Davies.  A blind, or embossed, seal of The Zoological Society of London is in the upper corner of each plate.
