Background:

These beautiful color prints are from an 1877 French History and Geography Atlas.   They feature Heraldry, Crowns, Helmets, Coats of Arms and Orders of Chivalry of French nobility.  The prints were produced through a chromolithograph process and use metallic inks for the gold and silver in the illustrations.
