Background:
These prints are from the New Series of the Curtis Botanical Magazine, first
issued in 1948 and published through 1983 by the Royal Horticultural Society in London.
Curtis is the oldest - and longest - published of the British horticultural
magazines. The prints featured here appeared in Curtis issues published from 1948 to
1956.
