Background:

These beautiful prints are from an early 1800s folio describing the homes (or Country Seats) of the "Royal Family, Nobility and Gentry of England."  The prints were done through an acquaint technique and finished with hand-coloring.  The name of the estate is identified on the print, along with the name of the noble-person fortunate enough to live there!
