Background:
These prints are from the Parisian fashion magazine Art-Goût-Beauté (Art, Good Taste
and Beauty) published in the 1920s and 1930s. They uniquely capture the spirit
of the Art Deco era in both the fashions portrayed and artistic rendering.
The prints were produced through the pochoir
technique, a method of print making using stencils comparable to silk screening.
